Health ” A Priceless Asset

A healthy person enjoys life to the fullest. A sick person on the other hand is deprived of all life’s glamor in spite of being rich. Health insurances can assure you that all your health problems will be sorted out in a jiffy. Yet you will have to play a pivotal role in keeping yourself healthy.

Within the purview of a family, the women are the worst sufferers. They nurse and tend the entire family at the cost of their health and fitness.

Few reasons are being cited for this apathy:

A woman’s involvement in the kitchen usurps her time; she is left with no time for herself after attending to her household chores. Her job entails physical labor but it is not sufficient for leading a healthy lifestyle free of diseases.

The complaint of backache is rampant among women. Few are aware of its consequences. The neglect it. They feel a good nights sleep will eradicate their problem.

How many women go to the doctor when they are sick? A lot of women decide that a home remedy is best medicine for their health. Their thought is unless they don’t drop down, they are fine. The more you ignore, the worse it gets from the health point of view.

Some women believe that a home remedy is the best treatment for them when they are sick and an appointment with the doctor is unnecessary. It has happened that they have had to regret their decision.

Skipping meals is a common practice among most of the women. At times they don’t get the time to plan their diet properly but most of the times women feel that it will lead to weight loss. Unfortunately what they don’t realize is that both over eating and skipping meals can lead to severe malnutrition.

Obesity is also inherited by some unlucky women. Weight loss for them is not an impossible target. They have to be more organized and follow a simple plan. Many times women never follow the diet or exercise schedule.

Here are a few things that should be followed:

In any fitness regime a morning walk of 30 minutes, 5 times a day should be inculcated. It is the time when your metabolism can get a kick start. It will ensure your physical and mental well- being.

Drinking about 8 to 10 glasses of water will work wonders for your health.

A natural diet rich in grains, rice, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, taken in the right proportion promotes weight loss. The changes are permanent, unlike the artificial diets. By taking protein drinks and using slimming products you can achieve quick weight loss but, as soon as you revert back to your normal diet the changes disappear and you are back to your obese self.

Perseverance and a little of your time will give you a healthy life. Health is your wealth. The sooner you realize it, the better it is for your health!
