IPL 2010 – Back In India

Be there or be square.The latest edition of IPL season 3 would blow your mind. The third season of IPL is scheduled to be held in India from 12 March 2010 over a period of 45 days. The much awaited and anticipated season of IPL 3 is about to begin. The best part is that it is coming back to its home,India.

8 fierce teams, 94 matches, 18 games per team instead of 14. 97 players would play the IPL 2010 Season.

This includes a maximum of 26 players from Pakistan, 17 from Sri Lanka, 12 from South Africa, 9 from New Zealand, 9 from Australia, 8 from West Indies, 8 from England, 2 from Bangladesh, 2 from Zimbabwe, 2 from Canada, 1 Ireland and 1 from the Netherlands.

This sporting extravaganza promises to be bigger, bolder and better than any other cricket tournament so far in the history of the game.

And going by its popularity by the past two seasons, nothing and nobody can stop IPL 3 from being the tournament full of fast paced action, heart pounding moments and breath taking motions.

The KKR team time around would be lead by The Prince of Kolkata Saurav Ganguly himself along with the ever experimenting coach John Buchanan signalling the return of old warriors.

IPL returns this March with more games than ever before. And a grand opening ceremony in one of cricket’s favourite host, Mumbai. The final fixtures and schedules of IPL 2010 has been announced. The first match will be held between defending champion Deccan Chargers and the defending looser – Kolkata Knight Riders.

The IPL 2010 which is the 3rd season will start on 12th March and end on 25th April, 2009. Four new venues- Nagpur, Vishakhapatnam,Ahmedabad and Dharamsala have been added apart from the 8 home venues of the teams.

This time no new teams will be added but new players including the former ICL players will be available for auction for IPL 3. Shilpa Shetty and Preity Zinta with their franchise teams Rajasthan Royals and King’s XI Punjab respectively would be present to cheer for both players and fans.

Simply put,this IPL Season 3 Edition will rock your world.
