Thermal tape is great for indirect temperature control only, and in most cases is rated to manage a minimum of eight-hundred degrees Fahrenheit. With a uniquely designed adhesive, these temperature control products look attractive when correctly applied.
Large areas, like floorboards, can be shielded from heat by installing aluminized mylar matting. This matting comes in large sections that are pre-cut to a variety of lengths. These are very useful for commercial vehicles where the motor is positioned closer to or under the cab.
Many automotive and industrial vehicles may gain from improved heat. Properly reducing heat can lead to extended engine part life and performance. Even the gas mileage of nearly all vehicles can be improved by the application of thermal protection parts.
