In order to maximize your Park City vacation experience, it`s essential that you make plans for 3 meals a day when you`re in town. Park City has a interesting dining community, with local restaurants spanning many varieties of cuisines, including Italian, Asian, American, and Mexican fare. These restaurants are a few of the top locations to eat in Park City.

If your friends and family are in the mood for Mexican, there are several great restaurants to pick from. Baja Cantina, situated by the resort center at PCMR, has great food and delicious margaritas for the adults in your group. Another popular pick is Nacho Mama`s, which serves up delicious soups, tacos, and fajitas. If your group is interested in something out by Kimball Junction, try Loco Lizard Cantina, situated behind the Chevron by the I-80 exit.

If Asian food is the thing you`re looking for, try one of these Park City restaurants. The Last Samurai, just off the I-80 interchange, prepares Asian-style dishes similar to hibachi restaurants, and is not quite as busy as some of the restaurants in town. Or, try out Shabu or Wahso, two high quality restaurants with high-end customer service and fabulous dining experiences.

When you`re looking for Italian cuisine, check out Grappa, a multi-award winning restaurant situated at the very top of Main Street. If you want somewhere not quite so high-end, Cisero`s Italian restaurant is also on Main Street and features a dance club downstairs, paving the way for an interesting night of dining and dancing. If your group is staying outside of town or willing to make the quick trip to Kimball Junction, Ghidotti`s is also a great pick for dinner. The gnocchi and veal marsala are so tasty, you`ll be hard-pressed to save room for dessert!

Park City, Utah has a wide array of pizza joints to solve the Friday (or Thursday, or Wednesday) evening pizza hankering. Grab a pizza from Red Banjo or Davanza`s, both great pizza joints located on historic Main St. in Park City. Maxwell`s restaurant is also a fine pick, serving up New York style pizza pies out at the junction. These 3 restaurants deliver right to your vacation condo, rental home, or hotel upon request.

When in PC, do as the locals do; eat some sushi! Quite a few local restaurants prepare appetizing nigiri, sashimi, and maki for a healthy, filling meal after a long day of activity. On historic Main Street, Yuki Arashi and Flying Sumo are two Park City highlights you should not miss. Another great choice for fresh fish is Blind Dog, conveniently located in Prospector Square, which has been featured often for it`s interesting sushi fare.

Always remember, travel is a perfect time to build memories and explore places you may never see again. Pick one of the restaurants outlined above, and rest assured that your meal will be one to remember!

Alyson Monetti is a dining enthusiast and enjoys going to new restaurants. Alyson likes the following travel guide for information on Park City Italian restaurants.
